The Italian Photochemistry Meeting 2022 organized by the Italian Group of Photochemistry (GIF) and the Interdivisional Group of Photochemistry of the Italian Chemical Society (GIdF) will be held from December 15^th to December 17^th 2022 in Ferrara.

The scientific program will include four plenary lectures delivered by internationally renowned scientists, two keynotes from the recipients of the GIF Young Investigator Award 2022 and the “Ugo Mazzucato” Award 2022 for the best PhD thesis in photochemistry, short oral communications and a poster session.

The scientific topics covered by the conference comprise photoactive nanomaterials, artificial photosynthesis and photovoltaics, photocatalysis and green chemistry, supramolecular photochemistry, photochemical and photophysical approaches in medicine, environmental science and cultural heritage, light-driven molecular devices and machines, sensing and imaging, advanced optical spectroscopy, computational methods in photochemistry.

Young researchers, post-docs and PhD students are encouraged to actively participate and submit an abstract for an oral communication and/or poster. The conference will be an excellent occasion to engage scientists and create new opportunities for scientific exchanges and collaborations.
